HTC Desire Eye and One M8 Eye Prices Spotted on Import Website
HTC
announced their flagship smartphone for 2014 – the One M8 – back in
March, but it looks like the Taiwan-based company is readying more
high-end smartphones for the second half of the year. We first learned
about the Desire Eye and One M8 Eye a few weeks ago and we even brought
you
more details of the former smartphone last week.
After we’ve heard that both smartphones will
come with 13 MP rear and front cameras with dual-LED flash, now we get
more details about their pricing. Zauba import / export database has
been a good source of revealing pricing and other details about
unannounced devices in the past and now it lets us know more about HTC’s
new devices. According to the aforementioned source
the HTC Desire Eye will have a 5.2-inch screen, Dual SIM support and a price of Rs. 21,490 (about $350), while the 5.0-inch single-SIM
HTC One M8 Eye
will be a bit more expensive, having a price tag of Rs. 27,035 (about
$440). Without knowing the full specs of the two devices is pretty hard
to tell whether they are expensive or not. For what it’s worth, it was
rumored that Desire Eye will have IPX7 water resistance.

Besides the leaks about the Desire Eye pricing, we’ve even been able
to take a look a couple of renders of the blue and red models. The
leaked photos surfaced online courtesy of
@HTCFamily_RU,
revealing a massive camera and a dual-LED flash on the front panel of
the terminal. If these photos prove true, then we will be dealing with a
real selfie-machine.

Sources in the industry are suggesting that these two
smartphones along with other camera-centric devices will be unveiled
during HTC’s Double Exposure event. The event will take place later this
week, on October 8th. Are you excited?
